My name is Analise Boldt. I'm a graphic designer located in Reno, NV. I recently graduated at UNR with a BFA in Graphic Design. During my time at university, I was the president and cofounder of the AIGA UNR student chapter, where I’ve helped foster a growing community of design students through events, workshops, and collaboration.
Growing up in South Lake Tahoe, made me environmentally conscious and taught me to appreciate beauty in both large landscapes and small details. From a young age, I gravitated toward creative subjects and excelled in projects that allowed me to think visually and create something from scratch. Through studying graphic design, I have learned how to think more outside the box and bring my visions to life. My education has also taught me how to design for more than just myself, encouraging me to consider different audiences and perspectives while paying attention to the details in both my work and everyday life.
When I started college, I was a film major with a focus on editing. While I enjoyed the editing process, I realized that working in film was not for me. A close friend of mine suggested I try graphic design, which immediately felt like a natural fit. Graphic design made more sense to me than other creative fields because of the variety of processes involved and the ability to help make other people’s visions come to life .
Currently, I design around issues and experiences that I care about and can personally relate to. My work reflects a range of styles. I enjoy experimenting and allowing each project to take on its own visual identity. Rather than sticking to one defined aesthetic, I focus on responding to the concept and purpose behind each piece using versatility to strengthen my portfolio.
In the future, I hope to work with brands focused on making positive change in the world. I want my work to reflect my passion for problem solving and my desire to make a meaningful impact through design. I am excited to collaborate with a team and learn from other designers’ perspectives. I am also excited to work with a variety of clients, each with their own passion and stories, and create pieces that reflect their interests. Overall, I hope to grow my skills as a designer and build a career that connects with with people and contributes to something bigger than myself. Check out some of my work! Portfolio >
